Benidorm Fest 2024

On the night of January 30, the Benidorm Fest 2024 officially begins. The musical contest also functions as the Spanish pre-selection phase of the Eurovision Song Contest. The candidate from among the 16 finalists selected by RTVE who wins in the Alicante city will travel to Malmö (Sweden) in May. From this competition will come the successor proposal to SloMo by Chanel and Eaea by Blanca Paloma.

The three galas will be presented by Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Calderó and Ana Prada. The first semifinal will be broadcast on La 1 on TVE and on RTVE Play this Tuesday, January 30 at 10:50 p.m. (one hour less in the Canary Islands). The eight artists qualified for this evening will perform in this order and only four of them will advance to the final.

The final on Saturday, February 3 with the eight finalists will be broadcast on La 1 starting at 10:00 p.m. After each of the three galas, the first TVE network will expand its coverage with The Night of Benidorm Fest. This monographic program returns with the same presenter as last year, Aitor Albizua (Figures and Letters), who is joined by Inés Hernand. This live program will analyze what happened in each of the qualifying rounds, from various points, set, backstage and dressing rooms, and will capture the first sensations of the artists after their classification. Also, interviews will be offered with the presenters, jury members and guest artists at each gala. They will be the ones who will conduct the first interview with the representative of Spain in Eurovision 2024 on Saturday morning.
